Secretary Duffy said, “When disaster strikes, it’s essential leaders mobilize quickly to help American families in need.”
Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy announced $1.9 billion in emergency relief funding this month to facilitate repairs to roads, bridges, and other transportation infrastructure damaged by recent natural disasters and catastrophic events.
“When disaster strikes, it’s essential leaders mobilize quickly to help American families in need,” said Secretary Duffy. “Our roads and bridges are essential infrastructure that keep our local economies moving.“
“The Federal Highway Administration will continue to work closely with states until all damaged roads and bridges are restored,” said Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Administrator Sean McMaster. “When transportation links are broken, this causes interruption to people’s lives and our economy – getting them back up and running again is essential.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Secretary Duffy to be led by the Lord as he heads the Transportation Department.
- For Administrator McMaster as he oversees the awarding of FHWA funding for natural disaster damage repair.
